when running parrallel .when you bridge your chanels does iy cut the ohm load in half or double it

when running what in parallel?

Subs in parallel 1/2 resistence

Amps in parallel Double power

Subs in parallel and Amps bridged = Death

Subs in parallel and an amplifier bridged does not always mean bad things. That is the purpose of dual 4 ohm speakers, as well as a few rare 8 ohm models.

Parallel (2) 8-ohm speakers and you get a 4 ohm load, bridge that, and thats the optimum output level for any A/B amplifier.

Parallel 2 - 4ohm subs, and your amp will usually tend to over heat often if not blow.
