Ok i know that these are best buy subs, but i am on a budget so here it goes... I was at best buy the other day, getting the new Neptunes album (sweet album) and I took a look at there subs, i was really impressed by the 10'' DVC subs... they were 600 rms and 1200 max i believe, they had two hooked up to a 1000 watt rockford and it sounded AMAZING, im not saying it sounded the best, and im not saying that it sounded better than all of you guy's $800 subs, but they were 110 for one, and thats really not bad, they come in a fatty wooden case, and the magnet is a monster (I know they through fatty magnets on crap subs)... so im wondering if these subs are really this good... i have a 800 watt rockford that i was thinking i would hook up to one and then maybe buy a 2nd later... are these good subs?

This is totally an opinionated question, so I will answer it with an opinionated answer.................. you get what you pay for and what you pay for is what " YOU WANT ". If these subs sounded great with the amp on the board with your CD, then go for it. Coustic has been around for a while now and have developed their equipment over time and they are an entry level product for lower $$$$. If you like what you saw and heard.. I'd say go for it, but personally if you were to put a 1000 watt amp and bridged it to 2 ohms on most any 600 RMS subs, it will sound like alot of bass.
