I was hoping someone could help me.

I have just removed a Sony radio cassette from the car only to find it had been really badly fitted. The connector blocks had been cut off and there does not appear to be enough wires to wire the new alpine cd receiver headend. There are a total of 9 wires of which I have established that one is  a permanent 12 volts another is around 2,2 volts another is the negative groung and the other 6 I'm not sure.

Can some one give me a wiring diagram or some help with how I can connect up. I presume that the radio originally installed was the Audi Concert type.

The A3 is from the UK, not a US vehicle.
