Hey there, I have a pretty simple video set up, all components are Alpine. I have the following:
Main head unit - Alpine 7949 which is Ai-Net
DVD Player - Alpine 5205
VCR - Alpine VPE-V180A
TV Tuner - Alpine TCS-V430A
My monitors are from Micro and only have a video input.
My question is this, how do I hook this whole set-up up to my amps. I know that the DVD player will be hooked up to my head unit via the Ai-Net, and to the TV tuner via an audio/video cable. Same with the VCR, it will be hooked up to the TV tuner via an audio/video cable. How do I hook the TV tuner up to my system. The rest of my system is the following:
4 Audio Control EQT's
1 Audio Control 4xs
2 PPI Powerclass 450's
1 PPI Powerclass 2350
1 PPI Powerclass 4100
The 2 PPI 450's are for mid's and tweets, the PPI 2350 is for 2 18's, and the PPI 4100 is for 3 12's. Please assist me in how I integrate my Video into my audio set-up.

Its been a while since I have had to hook that many video sources up. Are you sure that the 7949 will accept any of the audio, I "think" the dvd player's audio still needs to be connect via rcas. The only recommendation is to get a switcher and an auxilary input adapter.

Well the 7949 and the 5205 connect via the Ai-net cable. The tv tuner has inputs for the vcr and the dvd player. Just not sure how to hook the tv tuner to the stereo.

Ok I will ask this again, I know that my DVD player will play thru the system when linked up via the Ai-net cable to my 7949. How do I get the tv tuner and the VCR to do the same. Do I need to get an fm modulator, or what? Any help would be wonderful.

The F M modulator doe's not give clean audio it has alot of hiss.

I much rather using a dual input pre amplifier or E Q.
