Wasup people,

Ok now, I installed an aftermarket radio and all that about a year ago and every since then, my friggin' dome light will never work. I checked to see if I have power to it and everything is cool with the juice. However, it won't serve it's function! If anyone could help that would be nice. Late.

Someone else did it before you, so learn. Nothing is impossible. - My dad.

You have a 96-98 Civic right? The domelight circuit goes thru the radio. Remember that green plug you unplugged from the radio and never plugged back in? There are two wires in that plug that if you jump together will make the domelight work again. One of them is light GREEN/ red. The other wire I don't remember the color of. If you still have your factory radio, temporarily reconnect it and your domelight will turn on. Next break out the multimeter and test the wires in the green plug and see which two wires test as a negative door trigger. One of them is light GREEN/ red. If you find the other wire, post what color it is. Jump the two wires together and put your aftermarket radio back in.

Hey thanks for all that help guys. Hey Mexi, does that wiring harness solve my keyless entry problem too? If you could give me some instructions to go with that harness, I'd appreciate it. You must be physcic! Late.

The harness just t's power off so that you can plug your factory radio back in. You have to hide it under the center console.
