hey guys ... while i build my box, and i want to do some creation and something that look good.... below are the pic of the box that i have desing.

which position sound better? -- posted image.           

this design, when the subby in set in the middle of the box.....

and this one is design for the subby off-set to the side of the box

Are these 2 design (boxes) make any different in sound quality or anything at all? Or they will be the  same sound and no different ? i am sure someone in this forum has experienced in these type or design.. my cousin said off-set subby to a side sound better...

what  type of box is it? sealed, ported, or transmission line?

comm'n guys. i am pretty sure ppl in here at least know it pretty well about this!!,.... i need to know by tonite!! coz i am going to cut some lettering design, and i wont wast another chance to build another box..... i wasted too much time on this box already!!...

help and ideas will be muchly appreciated!! thank in advance

In my opinion it should be offset to the side to lower the level of standing waves inside the box... lets then move over to one side instead of crashing against each other....

It wont make a difference in a sealed enclosure. As far as standing waves go, a little pollyfill will help with that. Unless your pretty good at building truncated pyramid (trapazoidal) enclosures, your going to get standing waves.
They call it PMS because Mad Cow Disease was already taken.....

At most it will make only a slight difference in my opinion. Basically is it's going to make it better for what you want to do with your lettering than go for it. I don't see it making a mess of how your sub should sound.

i would say put the sub to the left and put a grill over the sub for looks..then add ports to it..i just had ports added to my dual 15" box and it pounds.

Everybody has different tastes and requirements, so you can just assume they are looking for more output from there subs. So it's a good idea to find out what they are looking for before you assume they want more bass.
