i recently added a smartwindows 4 to my concept 200.  vehicle is 99 civic coupe.

i had to drill a new hole in the door to run the 8 wires from the smartwindows module.  i bought a grommet to seal the hole.  my concern is that if my door would ever have to be removed, those wires would have to be cut.  i was thinking of cutting them now, and putting male connectors on one end and female connectors on the other.  but, if possible, does anyone know where i can get harness plugs, minimum of 8-pins?

For molex plugs you can try one of your big auto parts stores or a wrecker. Just go to any vehicle and cut the plug off any 8 pin wires that you can find and re-attach the wires to what you need in the doors of the Civic.

Whenever I need to make some sort of quick disconnect harness, I just buy a 70 & 71 series of a Metra wire harness. The 70 series is the female harness and the 71 series is the male harness and the wire colors are the same on both ends of the harness.

Most harnesses allow 14 pins, you can use a 2 part harness and just use the speaker side and you would have 8 pins.
