need the location of the factory alarm module for 2000 acura TL, please
also does this sound familair to anyone out there?
the door locks and parking lights do not work unless the key is in the ignition position. when the car is off niether of them work. anyone know why, the factory alarm maybe unpluged or non-exist. The car was from a police auction, and severly vandalized.
any help would be appreciated.

Try sticking your head under the dash and working the locks back and forth listening for the keyless entry relays. You might need help since it could be on either side of the dash or in the engine compartment.
After looking at the alarm install info on this website the door lock module is *in* the drivers door. Pull the kick panels and trim off and make sure wires that might have been cut are reconnected.

i looked at this 2002 civic's keyless entry, there are two part system to it, i believe. i dont know why there would be two, but there is one primary module under the dash behind the fuse (very hard to see)and the secondary unit (very small with only 3 wires) is behind the head unit.
