I am trying to install a Ungo MS2007 into a 1999 Ford Ranger.  I purchased the DEI 555F Interface module to bypass the PATS system, but i am stuck on exactly how i connect it to the alarm and the truck.  The interface module has a red and blue wire, the red is the easy one, needing (+) 12V constant.  Its the blue wire that I am unsure of.  It calls for the connection to be made to the (-)  activation output of the alarm, but I am not sure which one it is referring to.  When i look at the instructions for the alarm,  all of the remote start connections are (+).

thanks in advance for any help

I'm not familiar with the Ungo sys, but most r\s units have some sort of (-) output. If there is a (-)3rd ign output then that will work. If not, use a relay to invert an ign output to negative. To connect to the truck:
1. Remove the collar shroud
2. Place the pellet VERY close to the PATS transponder ring(around the key cylinder)
3. Follow the prog. instructions supplied.
If the unit does not code, move the 555f pellet around until it does code and then secure the unit in place with zip ties.
Hope this helps.

The Ungo unit will have some type of connection that puts out a negative, during the whole time the remote start is on. This is what you'd connect to the blue wire of the 555F.
Every manufacturer seems to have a different name for this. "Third ignition" is a common name; "status" is another. I often refer to it as "ground-while-running" because I think that explains it better.
In any event, if you methodically go through the owner's manual and read about the function of each wire, you will eventually get to the correct one.
