alarm sound when remote start

can anyone help me on how to fix my problems why when I remote start my alarm when armed the alarm went off on clifford rs3.5 sequoia 2003 . thank alot

If you installed a starter kill relay...are you sure you hooked up the remote starter after that starter kill relay? In other words, if you hooked it up before the starter kill (on the switch side), then you'll set the alarm off.

  no what i meant is that the factory alarm set off first then my clifford set it off along with it ...and thank you so much for the reply .

have you disarm the factory unit?
DISARM DEFEAT|blue/black          |   |blk plug, pin 2 @ BECU *4
The BECU (Body ECU) is above the driver kick panel.

look on page 21 on the install manual. h2/1 light GREEN/ black (-)

profuse007 , I didn't have time to do it yet but I have another problem . I try to program the passive arming with the valet switch how come it doesn't work can you help me . I did all the door triggering right and test it by arm the alarm then open it with the key then the alarm went off . and again thank you
