Hi,

I've been searching the net for along time to try to find diagrams for the hatch release. It's easy to find 97' Escort wiring, but none of it seems to apply to the wagon's rear hatch.

Background: Installed a remote starter with door locks. I have the locks working for the rear hatch, but I would like to creatively wire the trunk release to pop the hatch. The hatch does have a remote release using the factory remote, but carrying to key fobs sucks.

Thoughts?

Ther should be a "Green\black" wire located in the pass kick panel at the relay pack. The polarity of the wire should be neg, but be sure to test first.
