Just wanted to know if any of you have installed or heard the PG QX15 sub. What other subs would you compare them to? Are they more sq or spl?

Hello, i dont know what sub you are talking about!! Do you mean the Tantrum-x series 15". If you are it hits pretty hard and is more of ann spl sub. I dont think you need the 15" though. A 12" can move almost the same amount of air as a 15". This next year there are many companies that are probly going to discont. 15's. I would suggest the pg titanium 12". It is not much more $ than the 15" your talkin about and it is rated at 800w vs. 400w. I can give you a good deal on a setup if you want... I believe he's probably talking about the QX series subs, the model/year before the Octane R series
