Are all relays the same or is their a particular relay I must use in order to make the horn honk with the alarm? and my other questions is has anyone ever heard of the horn output wire being a ground? Rather than -or+

85 to 12V+ fused @ 15amps

86 to (+) Siren output

87 to Ground

30 to Vehicle's (-) Horn Wire (If vehicle has (+) horn wire pin 87 will also go to 12V+)

87A not used

Never really heard of a vehicle's horn wire being called "ground" and not + or -, ground is probably (-) though, what year, make/model vehicle is it?

No I meant the wire coming from the module. I guess what he meant was that it is neg. I have a 99 taurus. Thanks for the diagram I have a relay but I thought their might be a particular relay for this job. Is This relay diagram good for low current outputs?

Pretty much every car except a few Hondas uses a low-current horn wire from the factory. You don't need a relay.

Hmm if you hook it up that way the relay will never energize..Also most relays need about 75 - 150mA to energize the coil a 15 amp fuse is a little overkill a 2,3, 5 amp would be more than enough.

I have a horn hook setup hook up to a flash to my Acura Integra. I don't think there is enough current to pulse the horn through the flasher. Is that why my horn is continous sounding instead of pulse

if you are not sure use a relay anyway. Just as stated above

pin 86 to 12V+

pin 85 to horn honk output on alarm

Pin 87 to ground

Pin 30 to negative horn wire
