Help:Dash Speakers in Lumina

I am having problem installing new speakers in 1996 Lumina APV the Hayes manual says to pry off grill I tried this and the lower part of grill broke Please help me!!!

  when prying on these types try alittle bit of preasure and go all the way around the grill

If it anything like my 93 Grand Prix, which I think it is, you HAVE to take the dash pad off to get at the speakers.  If you try just taking the grills off, they will come off in pieces.  The dash pad comes off surprisingly easy also.
