I have 4 subs, 2 pioneer premier ts-w1041dvc and 2 ts-w1241dvc.  Or in other words 2 10 inch and 2 12 inch subs.  I am unsure what type of box i should make for these.  I was thinking an isoberic bandpass for the 12s, where they face eachother in one chamber and the back chamber of each has a port. For the 10s i was thinking if jsut making ported enclosures.  How would that sound?  are there any other ideas out there?

What kind of sound are you looking for? do you want something that sounds real clean, or do you just want something that is real loud, maybe a little of both?

Then I would suggest that you go with a sealed enclosure instead of a ported. Sealed will sound cleaner then a ported enclosure. But ported will be louder but you have to sacrifice sound quality and it sounds like crap at high volumes, it’s a give or take situation. Personally if it was my setup I would go with a sealed enclosure with separate chambers for all 4 subs. But I would also go with all 12's or all 10's.

I bought a sealed enclosure off e-bay real cheap. I couldn`t buy the wood for what it cost. I figured if it was junk I could store chains in it and buy a good one.  All seams are sealed, nice heavy connectors in the back, carpeted. It was my first real sound system I ever put in my car. The sound is great. I puss two 12 inch duel voice coil  Volfenhag subs with a 1600 watt Volfenhag amp. and it sounds great.(I am picky, if it sounded a little bad I`d trash the whole thing and start over) I was told ported would be louder but You have less control. Ported tends to get away from you on some songs. Makes it sound all mixxed up But real loud.
I think I see Light!
