Hello,

I am using the attached diagram to wire up aftermarket door actuators. Is it ok for the alarms negative triggers to have 12 volts? I think it is but I want to be sure. The alarm will give a ground or negative pulse output to the door lock/unlock wires when they are activated, but is it ok for those wires to have 12 volts on them. The attached diagram energizes the coils on 85 & 86 "red wires" so that the opposite terminals 85 & 86 "green wires & alarms negative triggers" have 12 volts waiting on them. Will this simply be completing the circuit for the relay. I have tested the relay configuration with a simple ground and it works. I just want to make sure that the alarm will not be damaged by attempting to do the same thing.

ThankQ

The alarm's lock pulses may rest at 12V+. This is normal. It should work fine.

I thought so. Thanks for the assurance.
