streetwires and others also make crimpless connections that use a set screw or compresion fitting this are great as well.

Pheonix Gold and/or Stinger makes an impact crimper...place the connector in it and tap as needed with the hammer of your choice. Any tips on crimping 0/1 gauge connectors? -- posted image.

usually no need to crimp. Stinger makes loads of 1/0-to 4AWG adapters and devices that all accept 1/0AWG using hex-screws that tighten down on the wire.

honestly for 1/0 you want crimpless anyway as it's generally used for "show" quality work and crimped stuff looks sorta unattractive compared to solderless compression connectors and what have you.
best of luck!

Get a big fat screwdriver, as thick and short as possible (this will minimized flexing), and a hammer.  put it on concrete and just hammer it like a chisel (i guess a chisel would work too if its not too sharp....).  this works very well if you do it twice on each side.
