Mercedes Factory Amp

One of my guys had a 1991 350SD in the shop today and was looking for the factory amp, of course, couldn't find it.. It's been years since I've been in one for just a deck and couldn't remember where the amp was.. Found the tuner pack in the rear right quarter panel, but no amp. Curiosity got the better of me and I looked in a few spots, but was into an alarm in a mitsu and the customer was waiting, so couldn't spend a lot of time in it.. he never found it and just ran new wires.. Also told me he had the same problem in an older 500SL.. Found the tuner pack and the speaker outputs, but not the amp for the subs in the doors.. George David's Car Stereo Baton Rouge, Louisiana
