I am thinking about glassing my center dash trim to flush mount my head unit. The problem is that there are three pieces to my center dash and I'm only going to alter one of them. My question is this: Is there any way to "paint" or cover up fiberglass to make it look like factory wood grain?

Fishman Audio products makes a laminate that's similar to wood grain. But two things....$$$, and finding somebody that can get a hold of it.  Good Luck.

There are a few companies who do a hydro-graphic finish on any non-porous material. I have had some of the interior parts of my King Ranch F-150 re-finished in Burlwood and it turned out great. Instead of an overlay or stick on wood grain, they apply the finish to the parts.
I am currently working on a fiberglass center section of the dash for my '99 Jeep Wrangler. I have already contacted Phoenix Imaging about finishing the parts. They said, It is no problem applying their finishes to fiberglass.
You may want to take a look at what they have to offer. Their website is http://www.dash-kit.com/ This may be an option for you.
Good Luck.

There is a company that I deal with that does a great job with hydro-graphic finishes. The best thing is that do almost any colors. I am having some panals from my full size Blazer done now. Looks sweet!
