No Unlock

Ok, I got my relay to work for my keyless locks (thanks a lot mobiletoys2002) except now it will lock, but not unlock.  The reciever clicks and i get a reading from the unlock wires to where they attach to the actuator wires.  Could the wires on the actuator be bad? or should I look at something else?

Yeah, they're 2 wire actuators but the package that I got says I don't need anything else.  When I reverse the wires it unlocks, but by pushing the Lock button on the remote.  Then reciever still clicks like it's trying to lock when I push the unlock button.

If you have aftermarket 2 wire actuators,you need them wired like this

You need a relay for the lock and one for the unlock.

The package for the actuators might  say that, but it won't know what type of keyless entry or alarm you have.  Like dan said, you will most likely need the 2 relays, unless your keyless entry has the relays built in (the manual should say if it does or not).  One problem I had when I hooked up my actuators was that my relays weren't grounded well enough, and it only opened the locks, not locked.  When I grounded it correctly, they worked both ways just fine.

Ok, I tried grounding in several different ways and still no luck.

What would you suggest for the best type? all wires together, all wires seperated? there's 3 ground wires

I still can't figure out what would cause it to do one and not the other, does anyone else have any suggestions?
