Hey all.  Got a '94 Pontiac Grand Prix.

We're putting in a DEI VIPER790XV in a customer vehicle.  Everything works except the remote start.

The relay on the harness clicks, but the engine doesn't crank.  All wires test correctly.  The only thing I can think of is the bypass we did.  On the Passlock I systems (which is this one) you wire up a relay with a resistor (this case is 520 Ohm) and its done.  No luck.

Anyone got any suggestions?  The customer is waiting patiently.

Thanks everyone.

Check your brown (brake) input on the 790.  I have seen before that if a bulb is gone in your park or brake circuit it feeds back and the 790 thinks the brake is on.

Aswell check, if you did antigrind or st/kill make sure the thick purple line from the satalite pack is on the correct side of the relay.

Are you sure this is passlock? A 94 Grand Prix should have VATS. VATS is the one with the resistor pellet actually in the key.
