I need help on how to wire my power folding mirrors to my car alarm. Like, arm alarm; fold in mirror, disarm alarm; fold out mirrors. Thank You

what are the wires that control the mirrors? Is it three wires to hook up or 2?

This is a suggestion and I think it may be cooler. What about hooking them up to the ignition? So that when the car is running the mirrors are out and when you shut it off the mirrors fold in?

just use this configuration which is used for door locks. instead of actuators... the two wires will go to the motors for the mirrors. you can use the starter kill output from your alarm to activate the mirrors. you would probably need another relay to make the starter kill output make a signal for close and open.

It has two wires on each mirror controlled by a relay box which has five wires. Two of the wires are the power, one wire goes to the left mirror(+) and right mirror(-), the other wire goes to the right mirror(+) and left mirror(-) and the last wire goes the mirror switch. You push, folds in, push again, folds out. Thanks

For what car is this for ? Do you have the relay box, switch & the proper wiring from them ? The reason I ask is because alot of the folding mirrors come from JDM vehicles and they do not come with the relay /servo box and you have to end up using a relay bank to do a flip flop configuratiion in order for the system to work. Two wire system that alternates polarity between each function when pressed.

Velocity motors is right . i did this to my car sentra91'

and there were no relays for the mirrors -just direct wired in.

This is for a 1996-2000 Honda Civic 4D that was sent to me by my brother in Japan. I've got everything, the relay box, the switch and the wire harness plugs. I also figure out how I'm going to wire it, but my problem is how to trigger it with my remote(alarm system). Tnx

If you are going to control the mirrors, what you need to have done is testing the two wires at the end of the narness on the back of the switch. They will alternate polarity when you fold them in and out. You will need to replicate this process with relays in order to accomplish this. If you have the servo controller, you can test it by grounding out on eo f the two wires until the mirrors fold in and then reelase the ground and then grounding out the other wire to open the mirrors. If this works, then you will need to have two AUX channels to accomplish the open/close of the mirrors.

When the fold mirror button is pressed, there is 12v present so you need to apply 12v to the wire that is attached to the button that folds the mirror. i think its blue / YELLOW. i guess you could use the pulse from your door lock, but you would have to convert the negative output from the door lock to positive with a relay.
