I have a clarion vrx935vd head unit and i just purchased 3 mt-950 from emerson.  They are active matrix so they are good screens.  I also have a emerson 7" sunvisor monitor.  My problem is that the mt 950 monitors look kind of yellow and have very poor video quality.  you cant see dark images that well.  Do you think i need a video amp because i am thinking about beying the clarion video amp.  Will this clear up the yellow tint on the screen and make the image brighter and clearer?

The problem is not with your video signal.  The monitors are of the STN variety.  (very poor video).  You need TFT.  I had the same problem and tried every available option until I switched to TFT.

If you have the 3 monitors connected.  Try the video amp before ruling out the monitors.
