A friend of mine just bought a 95 talon turbo and the previous owner had a viper alarm installed in it. The problem is that he didn't have any of the manuals and couldn't remember what model it was because he hadn't used it in a while. When we reinstalled the main fuse the alarm was armed and set off when we closed the hood. The remote didn't seem to work, so I found the valet swithch and was able to disarm it, but I can't seem to get it out of valet mode and arm again. If I can find the control module will it have the model number so I can get on dei's site and download the manual?
If quiters never win, and winners never quit, who the heck came up with the idea that you should quit while your ahead?

What does the remote look like? If you do find the brain it will say the model number on it...

I did a little search and found this posted by auex:
Open the door, turn the key to run, hit the valet button 1 and then hold, hit button one on the remote (for all remotes you are programming), then hit and hold the valet button again and hit the second button. If the alarm is a newer viper (or the 300+) then you could hit the valet button 6 times and hold on seven, then hit the top left button of the remotes.
Try that.

the remote is the old 2 button with the round battery hump in the bottom. I'll try that thing you mentioned.
