cu ft?

if im installin two subs in one enclosure (fiberglass that im makin)......if each one needs 1.5 cu ft of air space........does that mean i need 3 all together since there is two of them??????

Correct, if each sub needs 1.5 cu of air space then you will need a total of 3.0 cu/ft. However I would suggest that you put a divider in your enclosure so each sub has its own 1.5 cu/ft of air space rather then sharing the 3.0 cuft.

Without a divider, you risk damaging both subs if one blows, or they are not performing the same. If they are in the same chamber and one is performing better than the other it will try to make the other one work better than it can. Plus if one sub blows the other will still sound the way it should when they are in seperate chambers.

you will probably need to make it bigger for the diplacement of the woofer motor and the divider and any bracing that you might put in there also. also if you are going to make it ported you will need to subtract the port from the total cu ft also
