I'll recomend Mannix, this one work with Manual and Auto.So far this one has good range like 1/2 mile and a lot of features and everything is in one brain.plus come with a blue led light.Here is the Link Mannix LCD Pager Alarm and remote Start

prestige has the APS-996 you can check it out at audiovox.com done40 or so this year and have had great success.

I just bought it for about $115 and installed it myself

It comes with TWO LCD remotes. Try and beat that....

I do get between .25 to .5 miles range.

Hey who's got the longest ?

in actual feet marked off

The farthest I ve seen is (10 /10 send recieve) is 3400 feet.

p.s. the guys talking about autostart earlier:

the as 15XX are rated up to 1500

the new as 17XX will be rated up to 2000 (am 433Mhz)

the as 25XX up to 2000 feet

The new FMs 2510 // 2570 // 6010 // 6070 up to 3000 feet.

average ratings no max's given there, tested downtown montreal, not in billy-bob's back forty.
