I am having a problem finding out whether or not my 1999 Ford Expedition is capable of using an Alpine CVA1004 or not.  It has a MACH sound system in it and I am wanting to keep the sub that is in the rear.  I know part or all the system is amplified.  How will this affect the new monitor and what will I need to do to make it work?

Thanks

after you pull the deck out, take it to your local stereo shop and buy an amp integrater (sp) harness to match the plugs on the back of the stereo. then all you do is wire it up to the alpine's harness and enjoy... just make sure you hit the remote turn on for the ford amp, seen that skipped too many times with people going "hey, how come i don't hear anything?"
