Please help. I need a stereo wiring diagram for a 2003 Nissan Maxima with bose stereo. I am trying to add an amp with a converter. Thanks for the help.

if you're using a line level converter (hate those things with an undying passion) why not just tap the speaker lines at the rear speaker locations?

Hey thanks, but i am installing this for my friend and he would prefer it at head unit location, since the rca and remote wires are already neatly installed.

i hate to be the bearer of bad news but you cant tap them behind the radio because those leads go to the amps not directly to the speakers.  if you tap them there, not only will the RCA's on the converter not work, but also the speakers will not work either until you take the taps off!

well i tapped into rear speaker wires behind the radio one time in an 03 maxima with bose and it didnt work bc of the amps, and the speakers did not work either until i took the LOC out.

I tapped into front speaker wires behind the head unit and it's working excellently.

hmmmmm, well maybe those actually lead to the speakers whereas the rear speaker wires lead to an amp.  thats what it sounds like to me, well now i know for the next maxima!
