Is it possible to run new speaker wire to the front speakers in the door? I took my door apart and found there is a grey plug that the wire runs through back into the car. I tried removing the plug and I couldn't budge it so I don't know how I would run new wire through there. If it requires too much work I'll just use the factory speaker wiring and splice into it. My only issue with that is the speaker wiring on my passenger side has an open circuit somewhere, so that's my main reason why I am upgrading the wiring.
Also I am curious as to how to remove the tweeters in the dash.
I am installing a new head unit (only has pre-amp outs), an amplifier, and component speakers, if that helps. Everything is installed except for the front speakers.
Thanks,
Charles

well i can help you with the tweeter info. Just use a door popper or somethin flat and wedge it in between the dash and the cover, it pops right off, I have a 95 it should be that same.
