Im thinking about purchasing a lanzar vibe 228 amp. Im just wondering what any of your opinions are on lanzar or this specific amp. I used to think they were a BS company, simply because of their low prices but I have seen sevral set ups using lanzars that push the subs just fine. Im olny planing on running two jl w0's any way so im not really looking to build the ultimate system

pyle, pyramid, and lanzar are all one company. the vibe series is o.k. for a cheap amp. If you want lanzar go with the opti drive II. line it's a better amp. I would not say that lanzar is crap. It's not the best, but it's not the worst. I have sold many lanzar products over the years and have had no complants from customers. lanzar at one time held 7 world records for spl. that was a few years ago. that was when they were there own company. you could do worse than lanzar.

I would suggest that you use a JBL 300.1 instead of the Lanzar. I have used this same setup (W0’s and JBL 300.1) a few times and it has sounded pretty good. The JBL is more money but I think it’s a better investment then the Vibe http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?stk_code=jblbp3001&svbname=406
