hey guys, im stuck on which amp i should run, my choices are:

Kaption SPL 1000, JL audio 1000/1, kicker kx1200.1 or ks 1250.1, memphis 1000D, audiobahn 1800D( or something like that), alpine v12 mrd-m1000, im form canada, so these are the brands my local shops sell.

iw ill be running an audiobahn AWT15X, in a 5 cubic foot box in 1997 dodge neon, i also have pioneer premiere deh-p740mp if that matters

Im not sure about the specs on that sub, so I am not sure which one to reccomend, but i can tell you that I have had excellent experiences with the Memphis MC1000D and the JL 1000/1.....both excellent amps, however if I had to I would go with the JL.

i just don;t really like jl because they are over priced and over rated, i htink the jl 1000/1 at the store im going to cost at least 1300 bucks, and the memphis is only 900, anyone else ?

I would go with the Memphis.  It has raw power and they normally produce more than they are rated to produce.

I used the Audiobahn 1800D's when I had my Audiobahn setup, and let me tell you they are one hell of an amp. That sub is nice but power hungry, the subs are rated @ 3000 watts rms. I would defiantly go with the 1800D if not one of Audiobahns higher out put amps.

i donlt like anything new fosgate, i find it;'s sh*ttier qaulity then it use to be, and well, JBL amps arn;t near enough power, thats like a $300 amp, im talking like $2000  amp, no way would a jbl push that sub, im leaning towards the memphios right now, only 900 bucks, 2 year warrenty no matter what i do to it, the kickers i find are overrated, and cost about 1400 bucks, the jl is the same, the kations are only about 900, i wouldn't mind one of those, and i heard good things about audiobhan amps, but, not sure how much for the 1800D

Here you go you can save some dollars and still be heard around the block for much less than you expect.
