I have a 125HF remote starter installed in my Focus. While vacationing, the 471T remote that I had disappeared. After reading on DEI's site and many more, that the 473T will work on all HF models, I purchased one. Now I would like to program the module to work with the 473T remote. Could anyone help me out to get this remote working?
Thanks

If you have a valet/programming switch installed. Try this link. page 16 on the manual. This may work on your model as well.

Thanks, but I can't see the link. I do have a switch for accessing the hood. The blue colored connector on the module has two pins. Do I hook a switch between the two pins?

Yes, the valet switch is installed and hidden on the left side of the interior. I've looked for info about the 125hf but still have not come up with what I would like. Anyone know of a site with the directions?

Okay, I got the remote programmed but the 473T's range is about 3 feet. What could be the problem here?

Well, I had better finish this post. The 473T was returned with no problem at FutureShop. Picked up a 471T and all worked out well. Range is good. No problems now.
