Hey yall one of my friends had just given me 2 12" lanzar MXW12D http://www.lanzar.com/itempage.asp?model=MXW12D

The max watt rating is 900 and I wanted to know if any one knew the RMS. Im guessing its around 450 but im not sure. I have a Audiobahn A8002T amp and the RMS is rated at

200 X 2 at 4 Ohms Stereo
400 x 2 at 2 Ohms Stereo
800 x 1 at 4 Ohms Mono
Im trying to find out if this is a good match or not.

400 rms to two subs wired in parallel at 2ohm would be ok.
I need quality equipment, feel free to donate.

I also would like to see if anyone knew about dual voice coils cause i think each sub is dual 4ohm and one of the voice coils on one side of the sub doesnt work. So will I still be able to hook up the subs in parallel in to 2 ohms.

Houston we have a problem. No matter how you wire these subwoofers, if one sub has a coil that is either open or blown, it will cause an imbalance to either the amplifier or the other subwoofer. It will work but for a limited period of time. One of the only ways to use these subs together now is to only use 1 voice coil on each subwoofer. Yes it will work ok, wire the subs to the amp in 4 ohm stereo for best results.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
