when activated with remote... alarm doesnt chirp to tell me that its activated.. its locking and blinking lights... but wont chirp... same thing with deactivating....

but when the doors are OPEN and when i arm the alarm.. it chirps 3 times to let me know that the doors are open... same goes with deactivating...

so.. prob is cant make the alarm chirp when armed and disarmed.. when closed doors... how can i fix this?

i got a prestige alarm... cant remember.. which modell.. but if needed i can go find the model out.. its the model that looks like a j shaped remote.. with one big green button on top and 2 small ones right below... hope this helps

The unit is set to arm in silent mode. I will try to find the user manual for your alarm system.

To make the alarm sound upon activation, simply hold the arm / disarm bottom for 2 seconds.

1) Alright, make sure that the system valet is in fact in the OFF position.
2) Turn the ignition on and off.
3) Within 10 seconds toggle the valet switch on and off three (3) times.
4) You will then hear (1) chirp indicating that the *chirp notification* is active.
5) If the sirens chirp twice (2) then it is still off.
