I am looking at buying a Compustar 2wss-as for my 94 Mustang GT Convertible. I found several being sold on ebay, but I don't know exactly what is included in the origional packaging. I know I want to get a motion sensor for the alarm, but I don't know if I need to get a specific type or kind. I would also like to have a trunk release (my car already has a trunk release button in the glove box). I would also like to have a hood pin or something to protect against someone trying to pop the hood and kill the battery, what do I need for this? One last thing, does the compustar have a "pre-warning" for the 2 zone motion sensors?
Finally thank you very much for any and all help. I have been visiting this site recently to get as much info as I can about car security. You are very helpful. By car just got broke into and someone tried to take my stereo, but just broke it so the face doesn't fold down and eject my CD.

you get the brain, hourn, 1 remote, hood pin, antenna, and vehicle paging device.  Any type of motion sensor will work you just have to splice into the wiring harness, there are many auxillary buttons that can be used for a trunk release, personally i just got rid of my cs, good products bad remotes, not to mention that the range is not as good as they claim.

Everything Sqeakers said, and add a shock sensor that comes in the box. Remember that the remote talks 2-way with the brain and has a momentary delay when arming/disarming/starting etc. This can be annoying to customers or youself as a user. Also, keep a spare aa battery avilable for the remote. it gives you little warning when it goes dead and can leave you stranded.
