I have a 1996 Buick Regal GS (It does have a factory CD player but it skips when bumped so I need a new one) and I was wondering if I bought an after market cd player would I need to buy a wiring harness too or could I just use the factory one. If I do need one which of these would I need? And do I need an anatenna adaptor?

http://metraonline.com/locator.aspx?year=1996&make=15&model=557&type=7 you will need the 70-2001 wiring harness, 40-VW12 antenna adapter, and the 99-2001 dash kit.

are you sure I need the 99-2001 dash kit becasue my car is a 1996

So if I order these items

http://metraonline.com/locator.aspx?year=1996&make=15&model=557&type=7 the 70-2001 wiring harness, 40-VW12 antenna adapter, and the 99-2001 dash kit. I will be set to hook up this head unit http://www.audio-warehouse.com/web/mdl/CQDFX983U/detail.asp? Or do I need a head unit connector kit too?

Try these out. This is 100% correct. Metra part #99-2003 for the kit, #70-2001 for the harness, and #40-gm10 for the antenna adapter. The 2001 kit will work, but the 2003 is better as it has a pocket instead of an eq hole, unless thats what you want.

Does the power for the cd player go through the electrical harness?
