Have bass with Left or Right, no center

I am having a problem i have my amp hooked up to 2 ten w0's wired  stero to the amp. when the sound is centered it sounds like garbage(weak and distorted bass). when i fade it to the left or right it sounds just wonderful (only one sub though left or right) i have tried diffrent sets of rca wires and it did nothing. and trouble shooting advice would be appreciated. thanks

Can you list your setup and how you have everything wired?

Sounds like you have one sub wired out of phase with the other. Try reversing the polarity of the leads going to just one of the subs.

i had the same problem. if one of the subs isnt out of phase there is a defect with one of the subs. i am still having problems with mines.
