I have heard that the Rockford Fosgate RF X6 amps are under rated.  Anyone have any experience with these?  I want to push a Rockford Fosgate Power HX2.

I haven't had any experience with that particular amp, but I have had experience with other RF amps. RF's are underrated (even though they are rated on a 14.4 volt electrical system, not a 12 volt system), but it is usually less than 100 watts. RF Support told me that their listed rating is based on the lowest constant performance level. Pretty much meaning that evey RF X6 amp (whether it's the XA6 or XC6) will produce at least 700 x 1 @ 4ohms and 1100 x 1 @ 2ohms guarenteed.
Unfortunately you will still be underpowerring a Power HX2 (regardless of if it's a 10, 12, or 15). The Power HX2's only come in 2ohm DVC, which means you can only wire (1) of them into a 1 or 4 ohm total load. Since RF amps are not 1ohm stable, that only leaves the 4ohm option. All Power HX2's are 1000RMS 2000Peak. The X6 line is only rated at 700 x 1 @ 4ohms. Even if you manage to get around 800 watts from the amp, you'll still be underpowering the sub. But as long as you keep out the distortion (properly tune the gains) you should be happy with the result (even though it could be better).
Ever think of running a JBL BP1200.1 instead of the RF X6? It's 1200 x 1 @ 1 and 2ohms, and would quake that sub. You would get it for a lot cheaper than an RF amp as well. Just a thought...
