I have a 1996 camaro v6.  I have a carbine 5600-plus.  I hooked up the relay for the trunk release fin i think but it only releases the trunk when i open up the doors after disarming the system...i was told that i might not be waking up the BCM or ECM i forget which one but was never told what to do to fix it .....any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

on the 96-97 camaro/firebird you must first "wake up" the bcm by sending a negative pulse to the gray/black wire in the blue connector at bcm.  bcm is located on pass side behind glove box, just take the underdash piece off and bcm is towards the kick panel.  use the negative output from alarm to trunk relay to also wake up bcm.
