I am installing a Crimestopper RS 900 IV on a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the OEM Alarm.
I have the JDK-PK Bypass.
We have everything hooked up, and the doorlocks will lock, but they will not unlock. When you press either button, lock or unlock, there is a slight delay and then it locks, but it sends the lock signal twice, one about 4-5 seconds after the other.
We also cannot get the vehicle to start. The ignition wires all power up as if you put the key in the "On" position, and there is power going out to the starter from the RS system, but no start.
Install Guide for RS 900 IV
Install Guide for JDL-PK
Here is how everything is hooked up:
Module - Jeep
Connector 1:
Brown - Yellow (Starter)
Gray - RED / Blk (Acc)
Red - Red (+ Constant)
Red - Pnk/Blk (+ Constant)
Pink - Dk Blue (Ign)
Pnk/Whi - Blk/Org (Ign 2)
Connector 2:
White (-) - Brown of JDL-PK
Yel/Whi - Gry/Org (Horn)
Blk - Ground
Yel/Blk - Not Used (- IGN)
Tan - Not Used (Aux)
Green - Not Used (Start Activate)
Gray - Hood
Pink - Not Used (Glow Plug)
Purple - Whi/Tan (Brake)
Org/Blk - Lt Grn/Org (OEM Alarm Disarm)
Orange - Not Used
RED / Whi - Not Used (Tachless)
Connector 3 (Locks):
Blue - Blue of JDL-PK (Unlock)
Red - Not Used (+ for relays)
Green - Green of JDL-PK (Lock)
JDL-PK:
Brown - White of RS900IV (- Output When Running)
Green - Green of RS900IV (Lock)
Blue - Blue of RS900IV (Unlock)
Vio/Whi - Not Used (Unlock Priority)
Violet - Yel/Vio (Pin 2 of Data Port)
Pnk/Whi - Not Used
Pink - Not Used
Orange - Not Used (Panic)
Red - Red of RS900IV (+ Constant)
Black - Black of RS900IV (Ground)
I did not use any relays, I don't think I needed any unless I missed something.
Also, for the "Negative Ground Output When Running" from the JDL-PK I used the Parking Light Output from the RS900IV, will that suffice?
Any ideas on the door locks and the starting?

That was the next thing I was going to try. I think I will hook it up to the Yel/Blk wire that is supposed to power an extra (-) IGN.
I never thought about the Pk Lights flashing, on my RS they are on constant when you push the start button, this one may be different, or not enough current.
Thanks.
EDIT: Thanks for the suggestion on the YEL/BLK, I wrote this before seeing your post. I guess we were on the same wavelength.JDL-PK on a 1999 Jeep Gr Cherokee - Last Post -- posted image.

Just as an update, I switched it over to the YEL/BLK wire. Works flawlessly now.
Thanks!

albright, Yel/Blk is the wire you you every time for that. That's what it's there for.  Transponer bypasses, anti-grind, or anything that needs to be on with the remote start.

Yeah, I know that now. I was helping out a friend on the Jeep and I hadn't fully read the directions as to what that wire actually does. After I took the time to read it, it was pretty clear that I needed to use that wire.
