Do any of you have the customer sign any kind of waiver before installing a remote starter? If so, do you know if there is any type of online resource for generic documents like this I could perhaps customize for my own purposes?
Thanks.

Normally, a waiver is not needed in such a business. That is why you have insurance and third party liability coverage.
If everyone in the automotive business, installed RS units that were solely developed, and made to be installed for a manual driven vehicle(s).
Then there wouldn't be a problem... PERIOD !!!
It's not like there arent any RS units capable of remote starting a manual transmission vehicle.
It is solely the business, installer, and the customer(s) who fail to use common sense in this regard.
Just my thoughts on that...

Even if you have a waiver, it won't hold up in court.
