has anyone here seen a spare tire enclosure, with spare tire in mind? i had an idea of raising the floor of the trunk high enough to still have a spare. i think that if you utilized every area in the floor that it would yield plenty of airspace. does anyone have any opinions on this? i've seen several floor installs but i can't recall seeing one that was raised say 6" or so. this would make your trunk more shallow but still big enough for groceries, ect... i was thinking 15's in the rear corners facing the front, and utilizing the airspace underneath the raised floor. please offer any ideas and suggestions, this is just an idea, but i'm seriously thinking about pursuing this project.
thanks

What kind of subs ? Some of the 15's require little air space that you can get just from the side corner's of the rear of the trunk.

The subs I will be using are Audiobahn AW1500Q's.

Does anyone have any opinions about this install Idea? I think that I've decided to mount the subs in the rear facing the front, and raise the floor about 3 inches. In the 3" space over the spare tire I am going to mount the amps, and hinge that area to allow access to the spare.

this will be a bi##h to seal. Also the airspace dynamics will suck because of the shape of the enclosure. Just build corner boxes, these subs don't need alot of air.

I just made a different mounting place for my spare in order to build everything where I wanted it. I have a full size spare (matching rim and tire) though.

It will be a couple of months, right now I'm just doing the planning, as well as saving up my money. I'm going to buy my complete system all at once so, but when I get it done I will post some pictures. I'm planning on doing a step by step of what I did with pictures.
Thank's
