One more thing to add. When you apply the dynamat or like product, always make sure the surface is clean and dry.

i actually took apart the entire back half of the car and took three days straight and dynamatted everything! and mean everything, i took the taillights off and put little peices of dyanmatt in key areas put one layer every where... then i put three layers on the back top part near the window... and then i put 5 layers on the trunk lid and the only time i hear rattles is when its cranked so far that it cant go any farther (clip protection)everything stolen :(
