i'm having problems w/ my factory cd changer install.  the cd changer is from an acura legend while the headunit i'm using is from a 94 integra.  anyway, the 8 pin din cable that came w/ the changer does not plug in easily to the rear of the headunit. i learned that i needed an adapter so i got one from crutchfield.  so i plug the adapter to the headunit and it fits fine. i then connect it to the din cable which fits in fine.  but when i select the cd function on the headunit it reads "cde-01". and for some reason the magazine won't eject from the changer. i hope someone can help me out here.  tia!

The E-01or ( CDE-01 ) reading is an error message, usually because the changer magazine is jammed in the changer. To manual eject out the magazine, take a thin plastic ruler (at least 5-1/2" in length) and slip it between the bottom of the magazine and the changer. Now, push in. This will hit a release button in the back. If the magazine does not eject, you will nedd to send the unit in to be serviced.
