I need help!  I have most of the wiring done, but the manual is rather sketchy on some things.  On most things it pretty much explicitly tells you what wire to hook up to, and other times it only hints.  My biggest problem is all the references to using an external relay.  Since so may things need to be hooked up to a relay according to the manual, do I have to buy additional relays, or just use the included one with the included relay harness?  HYere is the parts I am stuch at:

4-2. Wiring of the 5 Auxiliary Output Harness

(A). AUX1 - Grey wire : Negative output for IG2
There are vehicles that shgould be provided with an additional signal to IG2 to run the engine.  Fir such vehicles, choose out of the below steps and set according to the specification of the vehicle after connecting AUX1 wire to the vehicle using an SPDT Relay.
(B). AUX2 - White wire : Negative output pulse for Dome Light or while in cranking
Step 1 : This is the output wire to make the dome light turn on before entering into the vehicle.  Connect the wire according to Fig. 5-4.
Step 2 : If the vehicle starts the engine, while cranking, only when the clutch or brake pedal is depressed, connect the wire using an SPDT relay.

*My car has an IG2 on the wiring schematic.  Do I need to use a relay to this, and if so, how do I wire it?*

**I don't understand the "If the vehicle starts..." part**

4-3. Start Disable - Orange wire

Use an SPDT Relay to connect as shown...

5-4. Door Trigger and Dome Light - Gray, Blue wire

There are two types of Door pin switch circuits.
Grounding (-12V) - Typical GM, Chrysler etc.  Positive (+12V) - Typical Ford type.
1. Determine circuit type by exposing the dome light switch and using Volt/Ohm meter (or test light)
2. Connect to trigger input ( positive or negative signal depending on circuit type) at the connection point.
3. Connect to the dome light output and Gray wire using External Relay as shown below.

***Again, do I need another relay?***

Like I said, the manual does not make it very clear about relays.  the "kit" comes with a relay and a relay harness, but several of the relay references are either vague as to connection, or they are not clear about what relay to use.  Please help.  BTW, I am being a good boy and soldering all of my connections  :)

Use this relay diagram for the 2nd IGN : http://www.velocitymotorsport.com/images/install_notes/2nd_ignition_relay.jpg

Use the supplied starter diable relay that they have given you for the ORANGE wire. Hook it up to the diagram that is in the manual

The dome light circuit requires the relay because the trigger wire from the Aladdin is only a 200mA output and requires a relay for the dome light ( if you want to hook this optional feature up ). Most of the instructions from these companies are for installer's with basic technical experience and does not take into account a beginner installer. That is why the instructions are vague. You should try installing a Compustar unit. THe instructions for those are minimal and very vague.

So I assume that for the Dome Light relay, I use a seperate relay (not included)?

I also assume that for the 2nd IGN I use a seperate relay (not supplied)?

So, this would mean, one relay for the dome light, one relay for the 2nd IGN, and the included relay and harness for the starter kill...right?

Yes, you must use a relay for the dome light circuit. The 2nd IGN uses another relay.

I am having problems with the final wire...the Pink ACC2 P10 wire...  I can't seem to find the key-in signal wire on my car.  What color is it, and where can I tap into it at?

Okay, Velocity Motors, do I HAVE TO hook up the system to my IG2?...or is it optional?

I hooked everything up so far (all I have left to hook up is the relay to IG2) and tested things, and so far, so good!  :)  My locks work, although I hooked them up wrong so the wrong buttons unlock/lock (I wired to actuators and used the relay config for Negative Pin Switch, instead of Positive Pin Switch...or at least I think this is the problem).  "T" Locks and "A" unlocks...it should be the other way around.

Although, I am curious...my door chime sound that occured when my key was left in the ignition with doors open, no longer works.  Any ideas?

Your car doesn't have a 2nd IGN wire. This connection is not used, sorry just confirmed with a wiring diagram and your car doesn' t have the 2nd IGN wire on it. The PINK wire that you have has to go to the BLUE wire on the P6 harness.

I found the key-in signal wire and tapped it.  What is the pink wire actually used for?  Does it matter if it goes to either the BLUE P6 or the signal wire?

Also, when I lock the doors, the remote is saying that the doors are open (yet they are closed)  I tapped the door pin wire as instructed.  Do I need to tap both passenger and drivers side door pin wires?

I hooked the relay to the door locks for both the positive signal type and the negative signal type...it made no difference...the wrong botton still unlocks and the wrong one still locks...any ideas?
