I am running two Directed 1100D Amps into 2 RF Power HX2. What kind and size crossover should I use?

Your amplifier already has an 18 dB/octave low-pass crossover built into it, so I would suggest using that one. As for where to actually set the crossover, that's personal preference. I usually send everything from 80 Hz and below to the subs, but some people go as high as 120 Hz or 150Hz. The crossover on the 1100D is continously variable, so you can set it anywhere you want, rather than just having two or three choices.

I also have room under my cd player for a eq. Would it be worth it to install a DEI 4000 parametric equilizer?

dont think so. like durwood said, the amps will have all the adjustment you need.

set the crossover point at 80Hz or so, and most amps allow you to give a little "bass boost" if you want to fiddle.

an eq would just do more of the same.
