speaker suggestions

thnx guys.  I think I will go with CDT splits up front and some kind of 6X9 in back. Thnx for the compliments on the amp. If anyone is looking for a good stout, cool running amp, I would definitely suggest eclipse. I have been playing with car stereo for about 10 years now and have always been a fan. 

if you are still trying to deside between your 2 choices, i would recommend the alpine type R's i am very happy with them i was not to happy with the type r subs but the internal speakers are great witha quality amp 1998 honda civic 6 1/2 alpine Type R (fibergalss panels where 5 1/4 should go to make 6 1/2 fit) Type r 6x9's in rear (fiberglassed and raised from rear deck to angle in the cab) powered by a JL 300/4 (4) JL 10w6v2 coustom vented and fiberglass enclouser powered by (2) kicker xs 100's Alpine DVD/screen combo in dash alpine 16 channel eq in dash 2009 0-1000 Trunk WR 154.0DB 2009 1001+ Trunk WR
