What kind of enclosure for a truck?

I used to subscribe to car audio and electronics magazine and saw many installs with subs in the bed. They would actually cut a hole in the front of the bed and a hole in the cab to port the sound in. It would be sealed with some kind of rubber to keep it watertight. It was pretty elaborate. I have seen them in there with like 10 subwoofers. Obviously this would be very expensive. Im not sure how just one or two subs would sound or how much it would cost. I guess if your skilled you could do it yourself and save money. Im not sure if this is what your looking for but, Im just letting you know it can be done.

What boomer is referring to is called a "blow through". Unless you want to spend alot of money you should just stick with a single 12 in a sealed box that you can take out when you want it.Certified Security Specialist
