I have a 2001 Ram 1500 standard cab and I am wondering as far as mid- bass location, would it be best to use the stock door location or custom made enclosures under each seat firing forward?

Will I sacrifice imaging by mounting under the seat firing forward?

Thanks,

Gary

under the seats facing forward would give VERY poor quality sound. You could only do this with subwoofers. doors seems to be the go.

i would go doors all the way under the seats wouldnt work well, you wouldnt get much sound by the time the waves came back from the dash
