Hey there,

I've got a few questions, and I was wondering if somebody could point me in the right direction.  I have a 94 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, and I am installing remote start and car alarm/keyless entry into it.  Basically, I've gotten most of the thing together, but I was just wondering if you guys could give me the answers to some of my more burning questions. =P

1) I can't find my parking light wire!  I want the lights to flash when the alarm is triggered, or turned on/off.  I've got the positive wire coming out of my alarm harness, but I just can't find the parking light circuit for my car!  The print out wiring sheet I have says "Brown", but there's a lot of brown wires of different shades in my car.

2)  My car has the typical GM VATS system on it, and so I measured the resistance value of my pellet resistor in the key and found out the value for it, then went online and found a diagram for bypassing the circuit.  I picked up the relay and the resistor for it, and I'm ready to put it in, but I was wondering if somebody knew the wire colors for it? ;/  Also if you have some tips on what to do, I'd really appreciate it.

3)  Any general tips would be appreciated... Thanks guys.

The PARKING LIGHTS are at the switch or  low in the drivers kick panel. Look for the BROWN wire that tests 12 volts when the parking light switch is on and 0 when off. For the VATS, use this diagram.
